So you want to be our new Controller?
As the Controller for KIC Management, with your primary focus being LESS Institute, in conjunction with the President and CFO, you will maintain the integrity of the financial accounting system as well as prepare the monthly and annual financial statements for review and distribution to the department heads and supervise the accounting staff. You will be responsible to implement internal controls, build out the team, lead audits, systems, expense management, managing multiple physician locations and P&L's. Duties include but are not limited to:

Ongoing review of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries for appropriateness and continuous improvements to financial operation efficiency and profitability
Perform monthly closings of general ledger each month
Review financial statements and analysis with the CFO
Supervise distribution of financial statements to executive team after analyzing financial data and approved by CFO
Oversee response to inquiries about information contained in financial statements and resolve issues
Make necessary adjustments to financial data prior to the issuance of financial statements for the subsequent month
Prepare, review, and complete financial schedules for the annual independent audit within timeframes stipulated by CFO
Establish in writing and effectively communicate job expectations and regularly provide feedback on subordinate's performance
Provide technical and administrative guidance and assistance to subordinates that lead to proactive problem resolution
Complete subordinates performance evaluations in a timely manner
Manage the Budgeting and forecasting for LESSI and other KIC healthcare services portfolio companies with support of offshore FP&A Associate
Manage Real estate financing and leasing projects from initiation to closure
Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverable, required resources, budget, and timing
Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed
Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders
Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms

What would we need from you?
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required & 5
years relevant experience
Experience with consolidated financial reporting required
Intacct Software ERP required - implementation experience is a huge plus
Strong analytical and research skills and the ability to write clearly
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills including competencies in the use of MS Word and Excel
Able to work in a team environment and provide direction, guidance, and leadership to the accounting department in addition to training staff
Experience working with a computerized Financial Management Information System and Web-based payroll platform
CPA is highly preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
