Description:
Reporting to the QA Lead, the Software QA Analyst will work with project managers, developers, architects, and QA in assuring the quality of customer-facing software platforms for broadband TV, tablet, mobile, and online Video-on-Demand (VOD) offerings. The platforms you will be testing will be used by millions of consumers per month.
Responsibilities:
oWriting test cases, test plans, and test reports
oManual UI, functionality, system, regression, and automation testing
oTesting XML web services (RESTful Web Services)
oValidation of database entries
oScripting in one or more of the following languages (Python, Ruby, or PERL)
Requirements:
o4 years of experience in software QA testing
oSome cross-browser testing experience
oPrior experience with load, stress, and scalability testing
oPrior experience writing test plans, test cases, and test reports
?oOne or more scripting languages (Python, Ruby, PERL, vendor-specific scripting languages)
oAutomation experience highly desired
Educational Requirements:
o Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Digital Arts, Digital Media, Computer Engineering or similar
