A top luxury yacht manufacturer in Merritt Island has an opening for a Senior Accountant with 8
years experience in a senior accounting role. This is a new branch of a large corporation and candidates will be expected to perform all duties as we grow to approximately 400 employees over the next couple years. This position has the potential to grow to an executive position.

Responsibilities include:
Prepare monthly closing schedules
Prepare monthly variance analysis write-up
Prepare schedules and work papers as required for analysis
Prepare cash forecasting reports
Perform a variety of special projects as directed
Perform all AP and limited AR duties
Perform all regulatory financial requirements including licensing fees, local taxes, and preparations/submissions for federal tax accountants
Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.
Knowledge/
Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Strong experience with Microsoft office and other database modeling software
8
years financial analysis
Must have strong initiative, excellent collaboration skills, and eagerness to accept accountability
Experience in inventory management preferred

Good written and oral communication skills
Capable of independent and critical thought
Able to be proactive in solving problems and developing creative solutions
Able to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility as priorities change
Able to secure relevant information and identify key issues and relationships from a base of informationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
