The successful candidate will have strong production management experience with the flexographic printing process and utilize on-the-floor leadership skill sets with the growing staff of 60 in a three shift environment.
Essential Functions: Embraces continuous improvement and actively participates both as a leader and contributor in the identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities Responsible for creating an atmosphere of positive change and process improvement Positively communicates production expectations and measures team and individual contributor performance to the achievement of these expectations Coordinates effectively with related departments Ability to multi-task and utilize resources to execute tasks within a deadline oriented environment Excellent organizational and analytical skills Must be able to communicate verbally and/or in writing You will answer directly to the plant manager and be responsible for production goals, quality and safety for the plant. Bachelors degree in printing, engineering or manufacturing field preferred. Minimum seven years experience in progressive print management positions. Extensive technical knowledge and experience in a high speed flexo printing operation. Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead and develop a management team to improve their skills to supervise, motivate, and manage hourly employees Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Word Demonstrated track record of efficiency and profitability improvements Negotiable salary and full benefits package includes: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, 401k. Identifying, developing and directing a team in a fast paced roll-fed bottle labeling printing operation Assists plant manager in managing ink and factory supply inventories with the goal of maintaining minimal on hand quantities while supporting production requirements. Assists in the identification and preparation of capital purchase projects as appropriate Coordinates with maintenance department in the development of equipment preventive maintenance programs and ensures consistent completion by pressroom personnel Champions cross functional teams with a focus on reducing press downtime associated with job change overs, raw material supply, mechanical/electrical failures and operator error Lead and directs quality control programs by reevaluating all programs, ensuring the correct programs are in place to meet quality standards and goals, actively tracking their progress and making adjustments as necessary Develops an effective waste control process, monitor its effectiveness, and makes necessary modifications to improve performance when required Continuously monitors material usage variance associated with print operations, analyzes and provides regular feedback to plant manager on notable variation both positive and negative along with corrective action plan Develops effective material reject management program in conjunction with raw material purchasing department Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment for all associates that focuses on meeting and exceeding company goals, safe work climate includes physical safety of employees as well as cleanliness and organization of press department and storage areas Provides leadership and guidance to its employees. Desired Skills and Experience Minimum Job Requirements: Other duties will be: hiring, training and overseeing production employees, scheduling, monitoring costs, managing inventory and troubleshooting. Candidates need recent managerial experience in flexible packaging and/ or flexo printing, good communication skills, technical knowledge of flexo presses and computer skills. The production manager assists the plant manager in in supervision of plant supervisors and personnel to meet/exceed company objectives. This includes managing optimal production equipment to produce a product that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Also included: safety, production and quality, continuous improvement, staff development and management, overall management of the 150,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space, three 57 wide flexo presses, coupled with fully automated finishing. Required skill set: 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with progressive and increasing levels of responsibility Proven track record to drive teams and cultivate a culture which delivers on business and program goals Knowledgeable in flexographic wide-web printing with solvent-based ink Knowledge of certification processes: GMP guidelines, AIB certification Creative, well organized, excellent communication skills and is self-directed Computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Action-oriented Developing direct reports and others Intellectual horsepower Problem solving Ability to recognize mechanical and production issues and implement corrective actions Excellent communications skills to establish team culture and trust Will pay relocation Send resume toEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
