Job Description:
Auditing the accuracy of each medical record
Ensuring a 24-48 hour turnaround time for all documents to be submitted
Keep up with quality of 90%-100% correct on medical record dictation
Working with inpatient and outpatient procedures
Scanning of all medical records
Flexibility with working with multiple specialties (Durable medical equipment, family practice, OB/Gyn, physical therapy, etc)
HIM Technician Job Requirements:
o Associates Degree equivalent required.
o RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) required.
o One year of experience working in a healthcare setting.
o Computer experience required in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Power Point, Word)
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
