Home Based ABA Therapist - Per Diem

INTRODUCTION:
ABA therapist is responsible for the implementation of a student's educational and behavioral programming in their home. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring educational, clinical, and medical programming for all assigned individuals. In addition, ABA Therapist is responsible for assisting BCBA consultant in the overall management of student on their case load and the overall running of a home program. Home Based ABA Therapists are hired as Per Diem Staff (fee for service) with a specific case in mind, however hours are not guaranteed, as the needs of the student, family, and or services may change at any time.

PAY RATES: $20 - $30 / Per Hour
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
o Implements 1:1 behavioral intervention programs to children in their homes.
o Participates in a training program that provides instruction on life, educational, play, and social skills using behavior analytic procedures and guidelines.
o Implements errorless learning educational techniques, Behavior support programs to management challenging behaviors.
o Collects educational and behavioral data techniques
o The ABA therapist receives supervision from a BCBA consultant for each student they work with.
o Observe and record behavioral and educational assessment data.
o Make adjustments to programming based upon the feedback of the consulting BCBA.
o Summarize behavioral and educational data
o Assist in graphing clinical data.
o Communicate with supervisory staff
o Communicates effectively with parents and guardians of students
o Participate in all meetings and professional development opportunities
o Videotape home therapy sessions for evaluations.
o Participates in performance feedback training
Educational Requirements:
o Associates or a sophomore or higher in College or University, studying psychology, education, Special education, counseling, Speech, or a related fields.
o Or at least 2-3 years working with children with disabilities implementing ABA programming.
Therapeutic Skills:
o Staff must posses patience
o Ability to interact well with children
o Ability to work cooperatively as a therapy team member
o Ability to work well independently
o Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
