About the Job:
The Program Administrator under the supervision of the Regional Administrator, will develop, implement, and manage specialized residential services. This is an exempt position. The Program Administrator is responsible for the overall management and administration of the residential program in compliance with the law and regulation.
This is a full time job with benefits.
Experience Required:
At least two (2) years experience in mental health work in a community-based setting with management and at least one year of supervisory experience. Prefer applicant to hold a current certification as an administrator of residential facility and have training and experience to carry out the requirements of Title 17 and 22 for residential facilities. Must have demonstrated an understanding of participation in a network of community-based social rehabilitation services. Must have had experience in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programming in a psycho-social rehabilitation milieu. Must have knowledge of and ability to perform within treatment modalities appropriate for program population, especially behavioral management experience. Must have demonstrated progressively responsible business and/or management experience. Bi-cultural/bi-lingual experience is an asset.
Education Required:
Completion of B.A. Degree in a social, health, behavioral or related field.
Skills and Abilities:
Requires ability to communicate effectively verbally and by the phone with wide variety of personalities and situations requiring tact, poise, friendliness, and sensitivity. Be able to maintain integrity and possess leadership qualities that build team concepts. Requires ability to build positive relationships with community individuals that will increase resources for the persons served and the program. Requires ability to facilitate positive public relations and ability in public speaking. Must be able to communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate verbally by phone in English in a clear and concise manner. Basic computer skills for using word processing (WORD), email (OUTLOOK), Internet, and related business applications.
License Required:
A valid California Driver's License - Class III/C. Proof of insurance.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
