POSITION: Junior Engineer

Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Junior Engineer is engineering support for manufacturing operations and systems. The Junior Engineer assists in the planning, design, control and continuous improvement of integrated manufacturing processes/systems to produce quality, cost-effective products and services that comply with approved methods, quality and regulatory requirements.
Primary
Responsibilities:
o Perform engineering support for manufacturing operations and systems.
o Assist in planning, design, control and continuous improvement of integrated manufacturing processes and systems to produce quality, cost-effective products and services that comply with approved methods, quality and regulatory requirements.
o Responsible for validating and testing certain metrics of the manufacturing processes.
o Responsible for recognizing inefficiencies in the manufacturing process and attain a corrective action plan for resolution of the inefficiencies.
o Maintain knowledge of all shipping and receiving systems.
o Responsible for all Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives in all areas of responsibility.
o Manage and organize projects as assigned by the Plant Manager, Senior Engineer and VP of Manufacturing with project management tools.
o Adhere to all the Company policies and safety policies.
Skills, Knowledge and Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree, certification in Engineering or experience in Engineering preferred.
o Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations and/or federal and state laws.
o Ability to validate and test certain metrics of the manufacturing processes.
o Ability to recognize inefficiencies in the manufacturing process and attain a corrective action plan for resolution of the inefficiencies.
o Ability to execute precise mathematical computations.
o Ability to organize and prioritize work operating in a multi-tasking function. Detail oriented, logical and methodological approach to problem solving.
o Requires maintaining a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the employees and visitors.
o Knowledge and an advance level of experience with all Microsoft Office 2010 applications and ERP systems.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
o Lean manufacturing or six sigma experience preferred.
o Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
o Requires minimal local travel to local training, seminars and workshops. Approximately 1% of the time spent traveling and occasional overnight travel.
o Possession of a valid state driver's license.
o The position could involve sitting, standing, walking for long periods of time throughout the day.
o Requires lifting of product up to 40 pounds from shelves.
o Requires twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling product from shelves.
o Requires the use of ladders, forklifts and pallet jacks.
Work Environment:
o Administrative and manufacturing work environment.
o Occasional exposure to manufacturing elements including noise, dust, fumes and odors.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
