The Residential and Small Commercial (RSC) Business Unit's IT team partners with the business to create strategic differentiation at the same time reduce IT complexity and cost. Key initiatives include state of the art dealer and customer facing productivity systems as well as global internal tools that enable RSC's explosive growth.
Technical Project Manager -- Residential & Small Commercial -- Belmont, CA
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities simultaneously. Interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
Provide technical direction for existing and future corporate financial infrastructure including but not limited to third party developed business critical and highly complex applications.
Handle data collection and automation challenges.
Perform operational forecasting, capacity planning and oversee continuous improvement of infrastructure to ensure implementation meets current and future business needs.
Education &
Experience:
BS/MS in Engineering.
12 Plus years of experience in core software development and management.
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical/quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience running projects in the area of business critical applications and services in a highly redundant implementation, including experience in systems architecture and conceptual design of operational support functions.
6 plus years of experience in software development as developer.
Should have in depth knowledge of contemporary technologies including Bigdata, Cloud, Mobility.
Project Management Professional Certification.
Experience with one or more of: Storage solutions,virtualized environments and distributed processing.
Experience in operations of financial reporting or supply chain systems.
Hands-on technical experience in multiple areas.
Ability to understand technical complex subjects and technologies and relevance to the project.
Ability to understand complex code if necessary.
