Design Engineer
Creates assembly drawings using AutoCAD, prepares bill of materials, assist shop with technical questions.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Create 3D assemblies by reviewing sketches, descriptions, specifications and supporting documents; conferring with sales representatives and engineering manager.
Prepares layout drawings for build; complete with bill of materials and dimensioning.
Reports to engineering manager.
Job
Qualifications:
Technical training, and/or technical (engineering) degree in AutoCAD, or 2 years work experience preferred
Must be able to draw in AutoCAD 3D wireframe and solids
Solid experience with MS Excel
Some experience with Solidworks helpful
