Quality Operations Supervisor

MS companies is currently looking for a Quality Operations Supervisor in Madison, MS.
The Quality Operations Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction by leading/training inspectors; organizing and monitoring work flow, maintaining a safe work environment and keeping accurate data.
Compensation: $14 - $17 / hour
Overtime based on experience.
Other Key Responsibilities include:
o Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
o Performing product audits
o Entering time and data into automated system in an accurate and timely fashion
o Developing clearly defined work instructions with customer approval
o Maintaining staff by training employees; developing personal growth opportunities
o Maintaining work flow by monitoring steps of the process; implementing cost reductions; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between internal and external customers
o Completing assigned activities by monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift summaries
o Maintaining collaborative relationship with the Customer through communication and cooperation
o Resolving personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action
o Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications:
o 1-3 years previous leadership or supervisory experience preferably in a Manufacturing or Production environment
o Experience with creating work instructions and strong computer skills desired
o Experience working directly with customers
o Knowledge and demonstrable practical application of Lean manufacturing models, processes and applications as well as a strong background in training
o Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities
o Strong analytical, problem solving, delegation and conflict resolution skills as well as adaptability and the desire to make a difference
o Superior team leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
