Assistant Corporation Counsel
This is a full-time professional level position tasked with the legal enforcement of actions involving Child Protective Services (CPS) (DHHS) primarily cases involving Children in Need of Protection and Services (CHIPS) and Termination of Parental Rights (TPRs). This position will provide overall responsibility for all phases of these actions including investigation, filing, litigation and disposition from start to finish, enabling a continuity of legal services.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Graduation from an ABA accredited law school
Membership in the State Bar of Wisconsin
Legal and municipal experience, three years preferred.
This position requires a bona fide interest and/or experience for the law of Child Protective Services.
Possession of a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle for work related travel
Typical starting salary: $62,493 to $66,064/year Maximum of grade: $80,349/year
