Senior Business Systems Analyst

Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
Essential Functions:

Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Six years of related work experience.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Master's degree.
Six to ten years of relevant work experience.
Energy sector or solar energy experience in utility, commercial or residential/small commercial environment.
KSA:
Display initiative and accept responsibility for own actions to get the job done under minimal supervision.
Apply knowledge and skills to perform assignments with little instruction.
Understand implications of work, exercise judgment and discretion in recommending solutions and improvements to processes.
Collaborate with other staff to develop new procedures and processes.

Effectively utilize available and relevant technical tools and resources (e.g., Microsoft Office, other software or hardware, manufacturing systems and equipment, etc.).
Possess exellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to explain detailed and specialized job-related information to diverse audiences.
Perform assigned tasks with reliability, honesty and discretion.
Act as a subject matter expert.

Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the area of information technology and MIS.
Work Environment:
General office environment.
Exposed to moderate noise level.
Physical Abilities:
