SCOPE
Role coordinates all process design and development capability within the Research & Development function for RB leading Personal Care brands. This includes working with R&D formulators to define the best manufacturing methods for new products, supporting industrial trials across the globe and partnering with the supply teams to optimize and harmonize current manufacturing processes world-wide. Particular focus on personal care/OTC products involving liquids, creams, bar soaps and wipes formats.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and execute pilot and full scale manufacturing method, validate new processes by ensuring that they can be properly controlled and reproduced in manufacturing plants
Provide guidance and support the formulators with the transition of small-scale laboratory method into commercially viable large-scale process. Lead any trouble-shooting activities in the post-launch phase
Coach and train the development team on scaling-up process and safe usage of pilot plant equipment
Effectively document through written reports all process development activities to enable the effective transfer of new processes to manufacturing site.
Analyze and resolve processing-related problems that arise in manufacturing, jointly with factories manufacturing team
Propose and champion process related innovation or improvements ideas, present ideas and results in an effective and credible manner in cross-functional team settings as well as to senior management.
Provide and manage a safe, accident-free laboratory and pilot environment. Follow all company safety rules in performing job duties
Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service as required
Partner with key functions ? R&D, supply, regulatory to continuously improve manufacturing methods and define global standards for RB personal care brands.
Lead any design and implementation of cGMP process laboratory facilities in line with current manufacturing standards.
Propose process design to maximize operational efficiencies in current manufacturing facilities globally. Work with supply teams to identify the cost optimal approaches to reducing cycle time.
Prepares and submits reports as required, such as proposed projects reports, current studies and investigations, validation reports, project status reports, project cost, project timelines, project folders. Develops spreadsheets that define process capabilities.
Facilitates continuous improvement by evaluation of existing operations in light of new technology, team needs and cost/benefit opportunities.
Able to utilize global resources to promote harmonization, broaden exposure to alternate systems and equipment, and to gain the benefits of similar experiences by other operations.
Travel to manufacturing plants to support industrial trials or first production

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
B.S. Engineering Discipline (preferably Chemical) plus minimum 5-8 years experience in Chemical Batch Processing Operations preferably in personal care or OTC pharmaceutical environment.
Must have experience in processing of minimum personal care liquids (hand/body washes, shampoos etc) ? ideally to also include experience in bar soaps and wipes.
Knowledge of cGMP and/or FDA regulatory compliance.
Working knowledge of appropriate software tools - CAD, Microsoft Office, Project Management Software
Excellent analytical and organizational skills required.
Excellent interpersonal and problems solving skills in dynamic environment where managing multiple priorities is the norm
Strong intellectual curiosity with an appetite for exploring new and previously uncharted territories and an openness to change and ability to think out of the box.
Strong personal leadership skills, good presentation, verbal and written communication skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
