We seek a dynamic, results-oriented International Tax and Transfer Pricing Manager who will help lead the organization in attaining world-class International Tax and Transfer Pricing services.
Manager - International Tax & Transfer Pricing
Danfoss is seeking an International Tax Manager to join its transfer pricing team. You will be responsible for overseeing our transfer pricing compliance and reporting for the Americas Region, including the Power Solutions Segment and its global subsidiaries. You must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and to work closely and proactively with numerous functional teams across our organization. This position will be based in Ames, Iowa (or Baltimore, Maryland ) and will report to the Director Group Transfer Pricing, based in Nordborg, Denmark.
Responsibilities
Preparation or review of Transfer Price Documentation for the Segment/Region using Thomson-Reuters software
Coordinating implementation of intercompany agreements in close cooperation with the Group Legal Department. Identifying changes in the business that may create a need for new intercompany agreements, and making recommendations on how such agreements should be structured.
Preparation or review of benchmarks
Liaison with the TP team in Denmark
Project work for improving the TP processes and operating systems
TP price compliance monitoring for the Power Solutions Segment
Analysis of U.S. and international tax matters related to Danfoss Power Solutions' international activities, including identification of issues, assisting in development of strategies and driving the implementation of solutions
Analysis of local country tax requirements around all aspects of our business, including entering new countries, compliance in existing markets, and proper structuring of cross-border transactions
Provide guidance to senior members of the finance team to enable them to understand key issues around our corporate structures, including risks, benefits, and financial impact to the company, as well as ensuring all international tax matters are properly reflected in our accounting and financial reporting
Work closely and proactively with senior business partners within the company to understand operational goals and objectives to ensure tax needs are identified, considered and communicated
Manage global transfer pricing and intercompany arrangements for the Power Solutions Segment
Supervise the intercompany arrangements for Americas Region
Provide support for the quarterly and annual international tax provision and compliance processes, US informational returns, etc.
Provide support on tax examinations in foreign jurisdictions
Serve as Thomson-Reuters TP Software Administrator
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with advanced degrees and emphasis in Taxation preferred
CPA Preferred
At least 7-10 years of relevant international tax experience in Big 4, law firm and/or tech industry
Strong technical tax knowledge with demonstrated experience in planning, implementing and managing tax international strategies and Transfer Pricing
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Ability to quickly understand and integrate business objectives with tax strategies
Ability to effectively communicate tax requirements to senior leaders in functional groups throughout the company

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
