Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking an experienced Production Line Supervisor for a fast-paced manufacturing client in Des Plaines, IL, to oversee production and/or packaging operations.
Responsibilities:Schedule, maintain, and approve work hours on a daily basis
Review production orders and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations
Review production and operating reports to resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems
Resolve employee complaints and coordinate with HR team members as needed in the resolution process
Handle all disciplinary actions, disputes, training, and performance evaluations for employees
Maintain a 5S environment
Follow GMPs and all safety, health, and environmental regulations
Qualifications:Associates degree in business or a related field

years of experience supervising a team of 20 or more in a manufacturing environment
Lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement experience
Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
