NCRA has an exciting opportunity at our Oil Refinery facility in McPherson, Kansas. We are looking for a Crude Oil Accounting Clerk to help ensure accurate and timely payments to interest owners for the purchase of lease crude oil. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are necessary.

You will:
Scan documents for data retention.
Enter division of interest for new leases and 100% leases.
Enter address changes.
Prepares revised division orders and other correspondence.
Sort and distribute incoming mail.
Research and respond to verification requests.
File and maintain lease records.
Act as backup for other Crude Oil Accounting Clerks when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Basic
Qualifications: (required)
High school diploma or GED
2-5 years of office/administrative experience
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred
Qualifications: (desired)
Experience in the paralegal or title examination field
Associate degree or technical certificate in accounting/business related field
Oil & Gas industry experience
Experience in Allegro accounting software or similar system

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
