Professional/Educational
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of instructional design experience or 2 years instructional design experience plus BS/BA (or higher) degree in related field; with proven ability in designing a wide variety of web-based multimedia training applications.
Proven expertise serving as instructional designer of e-Learning courses or projects that demonstrate sound instructional principles, strategies and techniques and are SCORM and Section 508 compliant.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Expert (SME) to conduct needs/audience analysis, develop training objectives and course outline, design course content, and assessment items. This includes compiling and organizing information, and writing and editing instructional materials to adapt classroom-based courseware, reference documents, and raw materials into clear, effective, interactive e-Learning training
Proven experience in writing, reviewing and editing storyboards. Highly skilled in detail-oriented documentation, with significant abilities in communicating with Government project manager, Subject Matter Experts and programmers in tactful manner, as well as providing written feedback to Government project manager and clients.
Significant experience with distributed learning applications, interface usability, 508 accessibility, SCORM, learning management systems, and integration of streaming media into web-based training applications, including training interface with Learning Management system learn.com.
Familiarity with industry standard and USG web development policies and standards.
Significant, proven experience as a member of a team; positive interpersonal skills and a customer-service orientation, particularly with clients from a wide variety of cultures.
MS/MA in relevant field preferred.
Expertise in blending learning design valued.
Experience in mobile instructional design valued.
Experience in gaming and/or simulations valued.
Experience with elearning COTS products valued.
Experience with epublishing valued.
Experience integrating social media applications for educational purposes valued.
Experience of foreign language learning applications valued.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
