Summary: This position is responsible for the implementation, support and data analysis of the United Suppliers proprietary big data platform (ATLAS(TM)). This position requires interaction with our Owners, the US sales team, the US supply chain organization, management, suppliers and frequent communication with internal and external information technology teams.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Performs project management duties overseeing the ATLAS(TM) Big Data platform onboarding process with our Owner retailers including platform set up, documentation and user training.
Analysis of data from the ATLAS(TM) environment producing one time and ongoing reports for United Suppliers and the Owner retailer by utilizing methods such as data mining and data modeling.
Apply analytic methods or tools to understand, predict and manage information from the ATLAS environment.
Provide ongoing support for the Owner retailer of the ATLAS(TM) environment.
Documents and recommends business and functional requirements while understanding and uncovering process issues.
For proposed system improvements, provides internal and external information technology teams with detailed requirements for the proposed change.
Travel to Owner retailers as needed for ATLAS(TM) training and support.
Perform project management duties to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
Documents system capabilities, business processes and operating procedures to be used by United Suppliers and the Owner retailers.
Other duties that may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's Degree; or, specialized education/training; or two years' experience in a project management, data analytics or business analyst position; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports, documents, data, and technical procedures. Ability to write summaries, reports, business correspondence, and procedure instructions. Ability to clearly and effectively present information and business needs, and respond to questions from groups of managers, the IT team, coworkers, system users, and other applicable groups.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, ratio, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out procedures and instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Current Driver's License, driving record must meet company/insurance guidelines.
Other Skills and Abilities - Prior data analysis and data mining experience and gathering business requirements. Experience documenting business and functional requirements. Must be able to travel as needed. Travel could be upwards of 30% at certain times.
