Travel Advantage Network is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to join our Technology Support Team. This position is responsible for interpreting, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems of devices on a local and wide area network. In addition this individual must be extremely conscientious; an effective communicator; and be comfortable working independently, but also have the ability to work in a team environment.
Position Goals and
Responsibilities:
Provides internal customer service on Windows OS, some support of MACs is required
Perform software installations and support including
Provides support to staff with Active Directory, Window Server 2003/2008, and Microsoft Office
Address and troubleshoot problems that arise involving LAN/WAN networking, and basic understanding of web technologies
Utilize remote access for providing support to internal customers
Perform day-to-day operations including:
Troubleshooting
New Hire setups
AD management
Assist with phone networks to maintain the system, including but not limited to:
Troubleshooting
Setup for new employees
Check settings
Use Line of Business Application to set up, delete, and assign roles to users
Perform system security setups for core business applications
Ensure hard drives, software, and programs are working properly
Utilize help desk ticketing software to manage requests from internal clients and assign priorities
Ensure anti-virus and spyware solutions are up-to-date
Maintain devices on the network including, printers, laptops, desktops,Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
