Contingent hours currently available on the Midnight Shift (11:00pm-7:00am)
Evangelical Homes of Michigan (EHM) is a multi-faceted health and human service organization that provides health care and home based services as well as housing to older adults and their families throughout southeast Michigan. Founded in 1879, EHM is one of the largest nonprofits of its kind and one of the oldest in the state, serving more than 3,200 older adults annually.
Position Overview:
We are eager to welcome new Personal Care Assistants join in the continued mission and growth of our specialized memory care facility; The Memory Support Center at Brecon Village.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you are responsible for providing compassionate services to the residents of our Memory Support Center while following the individual activity and assessment plans, treating each resident with respect and dignity, recognizing the individual needs and encouraging independence. In addition, as a Personal Assistant you have a key role in the creation of a homelike atmosphere for our residents throughout the Memory Support Center.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities for residents.
Assisting residents withEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
