Position Description/
Responsibilities:
This is a high paced position with tremendous opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP). As a Tier Three engineer you will work directly with different departments and Tiers, including our SAT (Security Analytical Team) members. We are seeking mid-level to senior level network engineers to aid in designing, deploying, and supporting Nuspire customers networks
Required Skills:
Remote troubleshooting and diagnosis of network connectivity issues
Working with a variety of customers and vendors (some technical some non-technical)
Must be able to communicate technical jargon to non-technical people
Research and design work for new opportunities
Develop network proposals and implement proposed solutions
Cross training of peers, fellow team members, and possibly junior level technicians
Excellent written and verbal skills
Previous Firewall Experience (Watchguard, Cisco, SonicWALL, Fortinet)
Configuration and Troubleshooting of the following topics:
IPV4/ IPV6 Addressing and Subnetting
Routing Static and Dynamic
VPN - IPSEC / SSL
NAT- Static / Dynamic / PAT
Access Control List
Switching VTP / STP
802.11 a/b/g/n
Common TCP/UDP Protocols
Common Router functions (DHCP, SNMP, Syslogs)
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Linux Platforms (Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc)
Knowledge PCI DSS, HIPAA, FISMA, SOX, GLBA, ISO 27000
Utilizing network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, Netflow, NMap, etc)
EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, QOS, VOIP
Education/Certifications/Training Required:
Associate Degree in any IT related course of study, or equal experience in enterprise environments.
Education/Certifications/Training Desired:
Bachelors Degree
CCNA, CCNP, CCSP
Security+, CEH, CEPT

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
