GeoLogics Corporationis working with the Raytheon Company and has an opportunity to hire a Network Administrator for a 6 month or longer contract position with the following background and experience to work onsite at the Raytheon facility in Aurora, CO.You must be a US citizen and have an active Secret clearance to apply.

Job Description:Duties:
Setup, configure, and support internal and/or external networks
Develop and maintain all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
Implement network support processes
Support the research, analysis, design, test, and implementation networks systems
Troubleshoot network performance issues
Create and maintain a disaster recovery plan
Recommend upgrades, software Patches, and new applications and equipment
Provide technical support and guidance to users
Lead and direct the work of others when requested
Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department
Manage one or more network administration projects
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Systems Management, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Four to six years of experience with Certification
Six to eight years of experience without Certification
Additional Job Requirements:
Raytheon is seeking a Network Administrator with strong networking background to join our team. The Network Administrator provides installation, testing, rapid troubleshooting and problem resolution for multiple network environments around the world.
This includes implementation of new network designs, changes to and day to day operational support of existing network systems.
The Network Administrator may be called upon to provide assistance with issues that are not strictly network related.
The Network Administrator works to maintain, as well as extend technical proficiency not only in network systems, but other areas of program technical need.
This position requires US Citizenship and a DoD Secret security clearance.
Required Skills:
2
years' experience installation and configuration of Cisco enterprise network equipment including network problem characterization, and resolution.
Working understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite, (ARP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, IP)
Experience with LAN routing (static, EIGRP, OSPF)
Experience with LAN switching (PVST+, 802.1q trunking, VLAN)
Experience with Cisco routers and switches.
Experience troubleshooting network issues
Familiarity TCP/IP addressing, including efficient IP space allocation using VLSM.
Understanding of the layered model of networking (OSI).
Must be willing and able to work after hours on call support
Must be willing to travel approximately 20%25%20to off-site locations for installations and maintenance work on short notice
DoD Secret Clearance, existing
Desired Skills:
Experience with Windows 7 & 2008
Experience with Red Hat 5.x & 6.x
Cisco CCNA certification
Familiarity with all of the following hardware types:
Cisco IOS routers and switches
Cisco IOS-XE
Cisco NX-OS switches Nexus 5K and 7K
Cisco Catalyst 6500 both Hybrid and Native mode
Cisco and McAfee enterprise firewalls
Kemp Load Balancers
Experience with Cisco IOS QOS, congestion avoidance and management
Experience with WAN technologies (Metro Ethernet, POS, DS-3, T-1, MPLS, BGP)
Experience with traffic isolation, and network virtualization technologies (ACL, VRF, DMVPN)
Network installation experience in a high availability LAN, data center or NOC environment
Experience tracing data flows though the network to determine problem root cause
Knowledge of general application protocols such as DNS, SNMP, SSH, and TFTP
Experience with Microsoft Visio
Experience with desktop workstation collaboration products and protocols
