Job Description: POSITION DESCRIPTION : This position directs the development and implementation of the strategic plans, policies, programs and initiatives relating to the Company's environmental affairs spanning three states (CT, MA and NH). Proposes corporate environmental objectives and goals to Senior Management and establishes the methods by which to monitor and publicly communicate those goals. This position also evaluates and ensures the proper resource levels to plan, develop and implement corporate programs and policies. Identifies and recommends appropriate responses to environmental issues by establishing and coordinating programs to minimize environmental liability. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or other science, Engineering or related discipline required. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of twelve (12) years experience in all aspects of environmental requirements as related to the corporate business including eight (8) years of management experience required. Requires broad-based knowledge of utility industry and corporate business. Also requires good organizational, management and communication skills. This position is being posted internally and externally. This position can be filled in either CT or MA and is posted in both applicant tracking systems.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
