Graphic Designer - Consumer Packaging, Adobe, Copywriting, Copyediting

Overview:
Work with product development, sales and channel managers, as well as the graphic design supervisor to support the production of design concepts for domestic and international marketing, including graphic layout/text revisions and illustrations, adhering to the global brand identity.
Responsibilities:
1. Implement and produce various marketing collateral items in accordance with the global brand identity, in support of domestic and international business, including but not limited to packaging, catalogs, brochures, sell sheets, advertisements, and sample boards.
2. Coordinate among cross-functional groups to identify business needs and create viable design solutions.
3. Daily production work such as scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning, color settings and preparation of final files to vendor.
4. Review final designs, layouts and resizes to ensure quality and accuracy before files are sent to publications or vendors.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 4 years graphic design as demonstrated by a design portfolio.
2. Experience working with in consumer packaging, POP, and retail preferred.
3. Proficiency in InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office. QuarkXpress a plus.
4. Ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines, work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
5. Highly skilled in production and prepress.
6. Strong eye to detail.
7. Copywriting and/or copyediting experience a plus.
8. Ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams and maintain positive attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
9. Initiative, creativity and self-motivation with ability to work independently or on a team.
10. Physical ability to lift and carry minimum of 40 pounds.
11. Intermediate knowledge of and functional proficiency in ERP and CRM systems; Oracle
12. EnterpriseOne and CRM OnDemand preferred.
13. Bachelor's degree. Master's a plus.
14. Travel required is 10%

1. Performs other directly related appropriate duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.
