Career Transitions, LLC is working with a client in Bristol, IN who is seeking a Controls Technician. The client is the industry's largest single integrated resource for their market.
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numerical controls, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment. Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, follows specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment. Position also involves project work with little supervision. Projects may consist of installing, wiring and programming various electrical components. Conduit installation is essential and the use of electrical test equipment will be necessary.
Skills
Must have ability to use PLC's and have a strong knowledge of PLC programming

Knowledge
High School graduation or equivalent
3-5 years experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
