Originates and applies new unique engineering methods and procedures. Plans, conducts, and directs engineering projects. Designs and develops special equipment. Develops and procures all casting tooling and trim tooling. Makes changes in methods, design and equipment where necessary. Reviews progress and evaluates results.
KNOWLEDGE
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
3-5 years of operations / engineering experience in Aluminum casting
PC applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Minitab, Database)
AutoCAD or other drawing software
Dimensional tolerancing, GD&T
Lean Manufacturing / Enterprise exposure
Six Sigma Training (Black Belt or Green Belt certification preferred)
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
