Great opportunity to join one of the DC area's leading media and technology companies. Our client is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant within its corporate finance team. The position includes a broad range of accounting, including journal entries, A/P, Payroll, fixed asset accounting and account reconciliations, In addition, this role will prepare the analysis of certain internal reports. In addition, this role will participate with other members of the team in special projects, month-end closing and financial reporting.
Position Requirements:
BS-Accounting
3-4 years public accounting or corporate experience
Must have solid technical accounting skills include account recs, G/L and fixed assets
Must have solid Excel skills and general ledger systems experience including Great Plains Dynamics
Position also requires excellent communications skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
