Perform a multitude of Supply Chain Management functions related to Material Management, Property Administration, Shipping/Receiving, Material Handling, and Warehousing. Serve as the primary customer interface for the control of 16,000 government assets. Perform inventory control responsibilities in accordance with applicable government regulations. Maintain database and hard copy records in accordance with designated government policy. Conduct regularly scheduled cyclic inventories and audits as directed. Conduct research and resolve discrepancies prior to reporting lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed property. Develop and administer integrated logistics processes including supply chain activities, warehousing, order management, and government property management. Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes. Participate in the cross training of all logistics support facets. Ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within constraints. Maintain a positive workplace environment and promote increased customer satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned. Understand and observe all safety practices. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Basic Qualifications
Working knowledge of Property Administration and Supply Chain Management. Excellent organization and problem solving skills. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Able to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: frequent computer use, standing, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
Desired skills
The ideal person for this position has significant working experience as a member of the military forces, civil service, or as a contractor supporting the Department of Defense.
