Media Specialist - Consolidated Service Center

Lockheed Martin is looking for a Media Specialist to join our team in Aurora, CO. The ideal candidate will perform Government Security required virus scans of media and software. He/She will properly discard and destroy media, software, and computer hard drives; provide for the issuance of media and prepare media for reuse; maintain an accurate library of classified media and documents supporting site mission requirements; prepare documents such as training manuals, brochures, and pamphlets for copying; operate reprographic machines and equipment to make copies of documents and reports; provide document scanning and Office Supply inventory support and dissemination to customers as requested; provide shipping & receiving customer support and classified courier packaging and tracking; actively engaged in customer service at the counter; perform general clerical duties such as answer phones, mail distribution, and faxing documents. Also performs other related duties and assignments as required. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information prior to start.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma required. Requires customer service experience working in a multi-tasking environment, and have experience with Microsoft Office products. Candidates must be able to work with minimum supervision. Ability to obtain the required DOD security clearance.
Desired skills
The ideal candidate is dependable, has strong attention to detail and the ability to take the initiative. Prior experience with the policies and procedures for handling classified or proprietary materials is preferred. Experience using and maintaining databases and library systems, operating high-volume copiers/reprographic equipment, and good interpersonal relationship skills are desired.
