Summary: Under close supervision, performs a variety of kitchen duties involving preparation and service of food to patients, employees and visitors, works as needed as Diet Clerk.
Prepares, portions, and stores food for all meal services.
Patient Food Service Activities including delivering and retrieving patient trays and menus.
Follows all HACCP and safety regulations.
Maintains cleanliness and neatness of work environment.
Operates cash register accurately.
Provides exceptional customer service and teamwork.
EDUCATION AND
Experience: To qualify for the position, the candidate must have High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in health care food service preferred.
SKILLS & ABILITIES: The ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of all patient, health system and departmental documents is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
