Summary:_
The Senior Financial Analyst will assist in the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package for the inVentiv Commercial Division which consolidates information across several business units. Another key aspect of the position is participation in the preparation of the Commercial Division forecasting and budgeting packages. This position's responsibilities will also include providing financial analysis on a regular basis and assisting with project level profitability reports as well support the operations and finance teams with pricing models, economic models, trend analysis, and ad hoc reports.

Responsibilities:_
(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)
Prepare the Commercial monthly Report Packet for Sr. Management & Corporate submission
Coordination of monthly reporting of monthly close flash results
Preparing monthly forecasts and annual budgets, including monthly Balance Sheets , Income Statements & Cash Flow
Work with Accounting Team and Operations Management to provide financial analysis on a regular basis to drive strategic decisions & drive organization initiatives through budgetary goals.
Creation and publishing of reports, charts, and other data meaningful to Operations and Finance in gaining an understanding of and improving efficiencies while identifying business trends
Contribute to ad hoc analytical projects
Assumes other responsibilities as determined
Requirements
Education Required:
BA/BS Degree with Accounting and/or Finance major
_Skills__Required:_
At least 5 year of Accounting / Finance experience
Advance knowledge of Hyperion (HFM) or other ERP systems- Essbase & Smartview preferred
Microsoft Office proficiency: including strong Excel skills and advanced Power Point skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees
Ability to work in a dynamic work environment.
Strong Analytical & Quantitative abilities
Strong Accounting & Finance background
Excellent presentation, communication and analytical skills
Ability to handle confidential information discretely
Ability to multi-task
Strong attention to detail
Ability to provide proactive approach to job duties and to work, at times, with minimal supervision
Big 4 Public Accounting experience preferred
