POSITION PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day activities of CUSO operations. This multi-faceted position will ensure efficient administration and oversight of individual CUSO business lines operations, as well as the accurate and timely dissemination of business reports.
NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to the CUSO CEO. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative duties and responsibilities associated with the coordination of activities and operations for various CUSO business lines.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Work with the CUSO CEO and management to prepare business plans, research and recommend new product and service offerings, and effectively coordinate implementation with UNFCU support departments and outside vendors. Manage new product implementation and continue to oversee operational aspects of program management on an ongoing basis.
Research and review competitors offerings and negotiate relationships that are in the best interests of UNFCU/CUSO and its clients.
Work with individual business line managers to set goals for their respective business lines consistent with CUSO and corporate objectives.
Prepare reports and analysis that summarize business activities and financial position based on actual and forecasted operations, as well as provide ad hoc reporting for Senior Management.
Establish and maintain procedures and internal controls which ensure the integrity of systems, processes and data.
Support CUSO business development activities, including but not limited to vetting product development initiatives for viability. Support any insurance acquisitions or fold-ins.
Represent CUSOs interests in applicable UNFCU proper initiatives from an operations perspective.
Responsible for planning and implementing marketing activities in conjunction with UNFCU Marketing Department.
Promote and facilitate a strong service and sales environment consistent with that of UNFCU and the CUSO.
Maintain awareness of developments in the financial services and insurance industries domestically and globally. Monitor regulatory trends and developments.
Perform any other functions as directed.
DESIRED COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
An incumbent in this position must possess a thorough knowledge of financial services operations and administration, as well as some accounting and finance experience. Must demonstrate effective analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to fulfill the accountabilities described in this document. Work assignments require the use of independent judgment on financial issues that are complex, interpretive and evaluative in nature.
A typical way of obtaining the requisite knowledge and skills is graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in finance, accounting or business administration, and 5-7 years of related and progressive operations experience in a financial services and/or insurance environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills and computer proficiency necessary. Professional appearance and a willingness to work flexible hours required. Insurance experience a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
