We are looking for passionate, energetic, and professional individuals for the 2014-2015 school year to serve as Child Care teachers, aides and 1:1 aides for our before & after school program. You will be working in a friendly and healthy environment with flexible hours, where you can reach your dream to make a difference in a child's life. Child Care Teacher
Qualifications: o 12 ECE units or equivalent coursework o Prior experience working with children. Child Care Teacher's Aide
Qualifications: o Supervision of a group of children o Planning and implementing curriculum, family events, etc. o Basic site cleaning and upkeep o Communicating with co-workers and parents in a professional manner
Responsibilities: o Report to work on time, in uniform o Maintain good attendance o Attend all mandatory staff meetings and trainings o Always be professional, courteous and diplomatic o Represent the YMCA and the Child Care program in a positive manner All positions are part time Applicants applying for all positions for our afternoon program must be available Monday thru Friday from 1:30-6:30pm. Applicants applying for our morning teacher position must be available Monday thru Friday from 6:30-8:30am. Applicants holding Child Development permits are strongly considered.
