Quality Control Systems Engineer needed for a pulp and paper service company. Experience in a mill with QCS experience is a must. This is a permanent position that will work on-site at a paper mill in Jackson, Alabama. Relocation assistance is available.
Responsibilities for the Quality Control Engineer
Perform preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance on paper mills QCS equipment
Advice client as to maintenance procedures, evolution, site planning, operational methods, process measurement and control
Independently troubleshoot and solve complex system and process related problems
Prossess/develop comprehensive knowledge of entire product and service portfolio and routinely consult with both customer and management
Be available on an 'on call' basis to advise customers out of hours and, if necessary, make unscheduled site visits
Requirements for the Quality Control Engineer
4
years experience as a QCS Engineer
QCS experience in a mill is a must. Metso, ABB and/or Honeywell will all be considered
Knowledge of paper industry
Willing to be on call 1 out of every 3 weeks
