Elevate Technology Solutions is currently accepting applications for a Linux System Administrator, to support our operations in Bedford, MA.
This excellent opportunity requires that the ideal candidate to be customer focused, and willing to join a winning team.
The Linux System Administrator will be responsible for the following:
System Administrator (SA) will be an on-site government contractor providing system and network administration of Linux and other networked systems in support of the Integration Test Facilities. Maintain the current baseline of the systems and provide software changes and problem fixes to these baselines as required for the CID, TDC and GW ITFs. The SA shall be the subject matter expert for all Unix/Linux systems within the ITF's. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Offeror shall maintain existing systems and environments in accordance with (IAW) disciplined engineering practices and sustain applications, databases, and interfaces in compliance with applicable AF/Department of Defense (DoD) standards for the CID, TDC and/or GW ITFs.
The Linux System Administrator must have the following skills:
Administer, support testing, reviews, and maintenance of current and legacy lab systems.
Perform vendor/contractor/liaison on hardware, software, tools, solution integrations and all other activities as required for the AFNET integration environment for lab operations.
The Linux System Administrator must meet the following
Qualifications:
Ability to obtain/maintain Secret Security clearance.
Proven experience with Unix/Linux
Professional Certification
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
