Responsible for scheduling, planning, and supervision of electrical and instrumentation personnel for the facility. Provides maintenance services to the operating units to assist in meeting their operational goals and objectives. Ensures that direct reports comply with Masonite EH&S policies and procedures and work to meet current regulatory agency standards, such as OSHA, NEC & NFPA.

Responsibilities:
Address downtime isues to improve equipment reliability, and work with area support teams to develop corrective actions that may include improved maintenance procedures and/or equipment modifications.
Ensure that electrical and instrumentation employees are capable of providing dependable and reliable services by hiring qualified personnel and ensuring that all employees receive any necessary training in their areas of responsibility.
Lead the E & I team to meet all company EH&S policies and procedures and to actively work to achieve all annual facility goals for safety and environmental performance.
Develop and maintain E & I maintenance programs to include predictive and preventative maintenance programs, standard work plans and downtime recording and analysis plans.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma required. A college degree in industrial technology, controls or a related field is desirable. Completion of trade schools, OEM training, and any other training in related technologies is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision
Skill requirements: Good working knowledge of electrical power distributions and motor control systems. Knowledge of PLC control system (preferably Allen Bradley systems) is necessary. Must understand basic instrumentation functions and how they are used in an industrial environment. Must have basic computer skills to understand and create spreadsheets and documents. Experience with maintenance tracking software is a plus. Must be able to learn new software skills for maintenance planning and tracking.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
