Duties:
Provide recommendations to improve storage solutions. Actively contribute to configuration, layout, and performance tuning. Participate in design and operational execution of disaster recovery process. Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance and necessary data migration. Provide assistance in the development of custom solutions and implementation preparation. Perform operational tasks. Provision solutions based on standardized procedures.
Install software products in a Mainframe and/or Open Systems hardware environment. Perform complex and/or extended-stay software implementations. Ensure effective resolution of technical issues encountered during implementations. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Requirements:
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field and 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a computer-related occupation.
Experience must include: 1) VMAX; 2) DMX; 3) SRDF; 4) Brocade and/or VNX.
Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
