Industrial Design Internship

Responsibilities:
Concept ideation- the gamut: 2D, 3D, digital and analog
Interface with ID Group and engineers on a day-to-day basis
Conduct project-based research
Graphic design for user interfaces, labeling and packaging
What you'll get exposed to:

Human factors process
Medical device product development
Required
Qualifications:
Strong sketching skills
A portfolio that illustrates your thinking and design process
An interest in medical device development
3-D/model-making & fabrication skills
Good sense of graphic layout
Quick study, fast learning
Adobe (illustrator, photoshop, indesign)
3D CAD experience a plus (we use Autodesk Inventor and ProEngineer)
Exposure to medical product design (not required but preferred)
Previous internship experience (not required but preferred)
DEKA offers Internships for full time students (must be at least 18 years of age). Internships last a minimum of ten weeks; Summer internships are to begin no later than June 15, 2015.
