Essential Functions:
Assists physicians with the evaluation and analysis of the patients need for prosthetic and orthotic services.

Ensures proper patient management is consistent with established practices for
prosthetic care.
Identifies and reconciles issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices
provided.
Ensures highest standards of patient care are provided to all patients, including
adequate follow-up with patients and physicians.
Reviews new techniques and materials to ensure widest range of flexibility and services
offered.
Maintains accurate documentation to clearly define goals, issues and solutions for each
patient.
Provides administrative staff with information to conduct reimbursement activities.
Provides information to facility management to ensure proper management of inventory
and materials.
Meets with physicians, case managers and other referral sources to market Orthotics
and Prosthetics services and capabilities.
Provides on-call services as necessary.
Adheres to all safety regulations and compliance with Medicare and other governmental
agencies standards. Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA) requirements and Company policy.
Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION PREPARATION:
Bachelors degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university from a recognized
Orthotics and Prosthetics school. American Board Certified (ABC) certification in
Prosthetics required.
JOB-RELATED
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years experience in providing prosthetic services under the
supervision of a certified practitioner.
Thorough understanding of componentry and its suitability and reliability for specific
uses.
Thorough understanding of anatomy, biomechanics and medical terminology.
Effective communication skills for accurate, concise, and organized verbal and written
communication.
Ability to instruct clinical and non-clinical personnel and customers on objectives of
patient care services.
Ability to assess patient conditions and advise physicians on treatment options.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with physicians,
therapists and patients.
Ability to work effectively as a team member.
Effective organizational, time management and planning skills.
Previous Sales experience in health care services preferred.
Knowledge of Windows based office technologies (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).
SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Prosthetics required
