DUTIES: Provide content in the formulation of strategic business plans for a line of products. Bridges development, sales and manufacturing to manage a produt life cycle. Drives product management processes to optimize product definition, maximize the value of products to EMC's business and product impact in the marketplace. Creates first, best content which describes and communicates product vision and product direction for customers, analysts, and internal EMC audiences. Formulates tactics to support growth associated with a product and/or product family. Drive effective cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and engineering to ensure that short term and long term product strategies are executed effectively and are in support of business goals. Manage existing product lines, increasing profitability of existing products. Establish metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvement. Work with the marketing team to develop the go-to-market strategy, helping all to understand product positioning, key benefits, and target customer needs. Assess market requirements, investigating new technologies, developing recommendations for technical product direction. Guide product introductions and product updates. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 12 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation.
Experience must include: 1) Symmetrix product architecture (DMX and VMAX), 2) Enginuity operating system, 3) Solution/Enablers and Unisphere interface, 4) FLASH, 5) IPMI, and 6) Multi-threaded programming. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
