Summary
This position will lead the financial accounting and reporting activities for the plant. Key responsibilities include cost analysis and general accounting activities, monitoring internal controls, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with other processes such as payroll and accounts payable.
Responsibilities Manage accounting activities and ensure internal controls are in place to support accurate and timely financial information in compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
Lead and perform month-end close activities, including partnering with plant leadership to review and explain financial results
Assist with annual budgets, year-end tax reporting, management capital allocation, and various governmental reports
Lead monthly product costing analysis and review; work with the plant to identify focus areas and analytics for plant efficiency and inventory management
Participate in plant activities such as safety meetings as a member of the leadership team
Provide leadership and direct supervision of accounting staff at the plant
QualificationsBachelors degree in accounting or finance required
Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience required; experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
Strong computer skills with an emphasis in MS Excel required; SAP experience a plus
Experience with GAAP, internal controls, and product costing required
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and lead others through influence, without direct authority
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under tight deadlines
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
