Summary:
Responsible for providing administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the Law Department, the Vice President of Human Resources and the Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities:
Provides general secretarial support to General Counsel & Law Department, Vice President of Human Resources, and the Director of Business Development.
Coordinates travel arrangements and helps manage calendars of executives. Copies, scans, faxes and files documents. Prepares documents using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Manages office needs.
Provides support with Law Department Filings.
Manages Company's world-wide subsidiary filings and records. Helps support the management of the Company's real estate and facilities. Maintains docketing and filing systems for contracts, real estate, IP portfolios, and compliance matters. Manages the company contract log and all legal invoices.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma, thorough knowledge of standard office procedures and excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and in the use of EDGAR, for filing documents with the SEC, is required. Proficiency in use of CPI IP docketing desirable but not required.
Additional business and/or secretarial education beyond High School helpful but not required. General secretarial experience, law firm or Public company experience with exposure to governance, compliance, regulatory affairs, etc.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
