DUTIES: Support the development of forward-looking concepts and proof-of-concept code that addresses security concerns in the context of emerging technology, trends and usage models; Develop alpha-level prototypes on a variety of platforms, including Windows 8 and RT, Android, iOS and Linux; Document research results, system design, tradeoffs and design rationale; Present findings and working code to management and other technical groups within McAfee.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical, and 5 years of related professional experience with:
- Strong security knowledge, including general security concepts, blackhat/whitehat techniques, malware behavior and the modern threat landscape
- Java, Objective-C, Python, HTML/Javascript, SQL or no-sql environments
- Languages : C, C++, C#, Objective-C, JAVA, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, XML, ASP.NET, x86-x64 Assembly, Win32, COM-ATL and .Net, COM-.Net interoperability
- Windows internals and Windows device driver
- Linux system internals and Linux device driver programming
- Application development with Android (including Android kernel and AOSP customization), iOS, Windows Phone 8, and Web Services
- Debugging and reversing skills using WinDbg, IDAPro tools
- Hands on experience with cloud security frameworks for software defined network like VMWares vCNS and vShield Endpoint

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
