Summary:
Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Control Plan to ensures compliance with all project established standards in order to meet customer expectations. Participate in all process improvement activities and validate all changes to ensure their effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with legal and contractual requirements. Ensure project compliance with all Safety policies and regulations.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) that describes procedures for monitoring performance to include a description of the inspection system to cover all task area services and a description of follow-up procedures to ensure that deficiencies are corrected.
Develop means of measuring process improvements and capturing customer feedback using the online software tool, ICE (Interactive Customer Evaluation).
Coordinate and research continuous improvement issues crossing all mobilization and demobilization support functions.
Assist with facilitation of management analysis reviews which influence policy decisions involving installation management.
Prepare correspondence, reports of inspections or investigations, and recommendations for action.
Examine records, reports, and documents in order to establish facts and detect discrepancies.
Inspect maintenance operations to ensure compliance with applicable army standards/regulations and production control procedures.
Establish procedures to monitor customer support/satisfaction in all contract support areas.
Preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge ISO 9000:2008 Principles, Protocols, Policies, Procedures, and Lean Six Sigma approaches.
Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Ability to define work performance standards and define and apply metrics to measure quality performance against established quality standards
Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
Ability to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Windows graphical user interface) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work.
Ability to work under stressful conditions and be physically able to demonstrate the training/support tasks to standard.
Must have the appropriate qualifications, certification, and/or license under the requirements for the task area being performed under this contract prior to commencement of work.
Must able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
Additional Position Information:
HS diploma, advanced Degree in a Quality Management, Green Belt certification preferred. Minimum four (6) years of experience implementing and maintaining a Quality Control program in a military IT program.
