Overview:
Supervise all aspects of Traffic in a satellite plant environment. Ensure maximum utilization of staff, equipment and other resources.


Essential Job Functions &
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the scheduling of all logistics related activity. Ensure the efficient loading and unloading of trucks.
2. Schedule traffic (shipping & receiving) manpower in coordination with other plant departments.
3. Implement systems to track performance both of individual employees and of the overall department with regards to accuracy, timeliness or other measures assigned by Management.
4. Insure that all orders are picked and staged accurately and in a timely manner to meet trucking schedules for deliveries to customers.
5. Insure all equipment and areas are kept clean, free of obstructions, and organized at all times.
6. Provide for safety and security of employees and Company property by ensuring a safe work environment that exceeds OSHA requirements and assuring that all operations are in compliance with all corporate policies and government regulations.
7. Insure that all traffic activities are in compliance with or exceed all applicable quality procedures and standards (e.g. ISO procedures and work instructions).
8. Handle all day-to-day supervisory responsibilities for personnel related to Traffic including training, work performance evaluation and disciplinary actions per company policy. Assist Plant Manager with other human resources functions including recruiting and hiring per company policy.
9. Identify and implement procedures to reduce costs, eliminate waste, and improve overall efficiency (e.g. on-time and complete shipments).
10. Assist maintenance staff with the coordination of required maintenance of traffic related equipment and facilities.


Job Specifications/Skills:
1. Minimum of five (5) years experience in the supervision of shipping, receiving, and material management.
2. Minimum of two (2) years experience with JD Edwards or equivalent shop floor control, and management software systems.
3. Physical ability to lift, move and/or carry minimum of 50 lbs.
4. Exemplary supervisory skills.
5. Able to deal with competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
6. Effective team building skills.
7. Effective written, oral, interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and JD Edwards or similar business software systems.
9. Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
10. Minimum four (4) year college degree in business or logistics, or equivalent combination of experience and education
11. 10% travel required

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
