Position Description:

ValidaTek, Inc. is a rapidly growing SBA 8(a) Certified small business specializing in supporting mission critical and high security systems engineering and operations projects for the Federal Government. To facilitate our growth, we are seeking a Proposal Manager that will be responsible for reviewing requests for proposals (RFPs) and developing proposal plans, outlines and schedules. For each proposal effort, the Proposal Manager will manage the overall process and effort to ensure delivery of a compliant and compelling proposal submission.

As an integral part of the position, the Proposal Manager will work with the Capture Manager, Business Developers, and subject matter experts (SME) to develop and write solutions and approaches that address requirements while incorporating identified win themes and discriminators into the technical content. Research techniques will be required including, review of existing documentation, technical interviews, and survey of industry standards and best practices.

The Proposal Manager will also manage the contributions of the response team of partners, SMEs, and subcontractors as applicable; acts as a writing SME and generates significant content across all sections of the proposal; manages the development and review schedule; and reviews proposal drafts and final versions for compliance and responsiveness to RFP, thoroughness, accuracy, staffing, financial considerations, quality and effective design and layout.

The Proposal Manager should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the mission, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions in a written context. In addition, the Proposal Manager should be very familiar with US Government acquisition guidelines, and experienced with Federal RFI/RFQ/RFP compliance requirements.

Occasionally, the Proposal Manager will also develop targeted sales/marketing materials such as capabilities presentations, white papers, technical briefs, etc.

Qualifications:
Education and Certifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher required
Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Certification preferred
Shipley Certification preferred

Knowledge and Experience
10
years of experience working in proposal development required
4
years of experience in proposal management required
5
years of experience working for Federal government contractors required
Strong familiarity with Federal RFI/RFQ/RFP cycles and compliance required
Experience with desktop publishing and graphics development preferred
IT technical background a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
