Student Driver Training Program for CDL-A Truck Drivers
If you have a Class-A CDL, Averitt can get you up and running with a great career. Our student driver training program is currently open in your area if you meet our qualifications (below). You'll be paid during the training program, and upon completion, you'll be ready to move into one our industry-leading regional truck driving positions.
This exciting opportunity provides
on-the-job training
with an experienced Averitt driver trainer where you will enjoy running the open roads for a
minimum of 6 weeks
where you will benefit from the knowledge of your own personal trainer and mentor. During this 6 week training, Averitt will pay you
$600 per week
, plus you'll enjoy all the benefits of being an Averitt Associate.

About This Opportunity:
Primarily Southern, Southwest and Midwest driving lanes (31 states). No NYC or Canadian routes
100
safe Averitt facilities, many with on-duty security, fuel pumps, showers, exercise rooms and other amenities
Assigned trucks: Volvos and Freightliners with majority of trucks having APUs
Drivers are home EVERY week (with driver option of being out 14 days)
Over 90% no-touch freight

Truck Driver Pay &
Benefits:
Start at $600/week while you train for a great career
NEW: After successful completion of your training your pay scale will be: (w/potential to earn an additional .5 cpm fuel bonus after training is complete) 37 cpm after training 38 cpm after 90 days 40 cpm after 6 months (tuition assistance bonus of $1,500 provided after 6 months if you qualify) 41 cpm (with 10 safety points) 42 cpm (with 12 saftey points) 43.5 com after 18 months

Averitt Requirements:
To qualify for this training program you must meet one of these requirements:
Graduated from one of our approved truck driving schools in the previous
120 days
OR
Have 1 up to 4 months of solo Tractor Trailer experience within the past 1 year OR
Have 18
months of solo Tractor Trailer experience in the past 10 years (this option is not eligible for tuition reimbursement)
Must have Class-A Commercial Drivers License (CDL-A)
Clean driving record
Must meet all qualifications outlined in our truck driver application

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
