The Human Resources Coordinator works closely with the Human Resources Manager to provide day-to-day HR support within the operation. The primary functions of this position include recruitment, implementation and coordination of policies and programs, covering a wide variety of employment, compensation, benefits, training, safety and health topics.
Recruitment
Responsible for posting of job requisitions and maintaining applicant tracking systems
Conducts interviews
Schedules interviews and coordinates pre-hire process with applicants
Facilitates new hire orientations and processes new employee paperwork
Conducts and orders pre-employment screening checks and tests including: MVR, criminal background and drug testing
Prepares documentation for and sets up new hire orientations
Compiles a weekly divisional staffing report and slate that outlines all recruiting activity
Submits all job postings and tracks submittal made to our recruitment partners per OFCCP compliance guidelines
Conducts exit interviews and provides management feedback regarding divisional culture and employee relations issues.
Employee Relations

o Assist the Human Resources Manager with regards to compensation, benefits and employee support.
o Partnering with Corporate benefits department to assist employees with benefits questions
o Provides information and is responsible for approval, documentation and tracking of all company, personal, and government regulated leaves of absence.
o Communicate and administer various human resources plans and procedures for all employees
o May assist the Human Resources Manager with the Workers' Compensation administration.
o Work closely with the Human Resource Manager on employee relations issues including harassment and other workplace concern investigations.
Compliance
o Responsible for maintaining and updating employee personnel, training, certification, and medical files.
o Complies with and enforces all policies and procedures issued by the Compliance Department
o Complies and enforces all other Corporate and local policies and procedures.
o Ensures and inspects paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
o Responsible for escalating concerns regarding questionable paperwork to appropriate management.
o BA or BS in Human Resources Management or similar field of study preferred
o PHR certification preferred
o Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience required, with recruitment preferred.
o Experience in healthcare related industry preferred
o Excellent communication skills
o Knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources Management and supervision.
o Ability to prepare written reports and correspondences
o Applicable knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws, labor laws, governmental compliance requirements, and immigration laws
o Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
