This position is responsible for administration and management of Windows based storage area network (SAN) environments, including the configuration, upgrading, maintenance, security, monitoring, performance tuning, backups, replication, technical support, and problem resolution. This position is responsible for successful integration and operation of SAN environments with Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, VMs, and networking. The customer IT SAN environment consists of NetApp FAS and H-P EVA. Other required technical skills include complete proficiency and experience with all aspects of Windows Server general system administration. Customer IT environment also includes VMware vSphere, SCCM, SCOM, WSUS, SharePoint, Exchange, Lync, Citrix, Netscaler, Terminal Services, IronPort, SQL Server, Oracle, IIS, and Entrust. The job position requires regular business hours support (currently 4x10 shifts Mondays-Thursdays between 6am-6pm) and also availability to rapidly respond to 24x7 production support and end user needs as required. Off-hours scheduled work may also occur on Fridays, weekends, and/or evenings as required for the customer.
Demonstrated prior experience in supporting the design, configuration, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and full production support of medium to large size production SAN devices.
Experience with fiber channel, FCIP, and redundant fabric topology.
Strong technical knowledge of network fundamentals and MS Windows Server 2012, 2008 R2, 2003.
Proven aptitude for analyzing and resolving a wide variety of IT problems in a complex environment.
Demonstrated experience in IT vendor technical support interface and coordination.
BS degree in appropriate technical field, or commensurate professional experience, is highly desirable. Current professional certifications are also considered desirable.
US citizenship required for a US government Department of Energy Q secret security clearance.
Highly self-motivated, and able to thrive productively in highly secure physical and cyber setting.
Ability to work effectively and handle multiple concurrent work tasks on a daily basis in a fast paced and demanding business environment.
Be comfortable and productive working in team/matrix environment, multi-discipline teams with customers one-on-one, and/or independently without direct supervision.
Knowledge and familiarity with customer support best practices and use of ticket tracking application.
Proven team player dedicated to providing top level, positive customer service delivery at all times.
Strong work ethic, be committed to customer success, and demonstrate passion for high customer sat.
Ability to remain calm and composed when under stressful situations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
